Hi, I'm

And I LOVE to travel.

While working mundane jobs in corporate finance, I used trips as a means to escape reality.  My 20s were spent exploring mostly domestic locations with friends, but when I turned 30, I wanted more.  I was envious of my coworkers who were taking trips all over the world because I also had the desire to see the world. I tried to coordinate with my friends, but I soon grew tired of waiting on people.  That’s when a friend’s fiancé at the time suggested I sign up for a small group tour.  He had previously done them and said they were a great way to travel the world and meet like-minded people.  I was skeptical at first, but spent the next few days exploring the sites of the tour groups he’d recommended and before I knew it, I’d booked a 15 day trip to Turkey that would be departing in a couple of months.

Ultimately,
my desire to see the world outweighed my fear of traveling solo.

As excited as I was to embark on my first solo trip, I had so much anticipation and fear leading up to that trip, but ultimately, my desire to see the world outweighed my fear of traveling solo.  Within a few days of the trip, I knew I’d made the best decision of my life and for the next eight years, small group travel became my preferred mode of travel.  I’ve taken 11 tours with various tour providers to Central America, Europe, Africa and Asia as well as one domestic tour.  Although the fear of traveling solo in a group never completely disappears, it has become easier and easier to manage.  So many of the unknowns that came along with that first trip are no longer present and instead I focus on what I love most about the tours…exploring a new destination, learning a new culture and meeting like-minded people from all over the world.

Shortly after returning from Slovenia, I officially quit my job in corporate finance and soon realized it was time to pursue my passion of travel and become a travel advisor.  I am excited to be able to connect people with travel that is authentic, sustainable, responsible and full of adventure and to open up a world of possibilities for you!

With many years of group travel under my belt, I was finally ready to take the leap to completely solo travel.  In January 2022, I escaped the cold winter in New Jersey for warm weather in Mexico and got a taste of the digital nomad life. I spent the next seven weeks hopping around Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos, Isla Mujeres and Mérida with my laptop in hand.  It was definitely a learning experience as I had to handle logistics that are usually handled by a tour operator…how to get from point A to point B, where to stay, and what to do when you only get 30 days on your visa, but need 60.  I embraced every challenge and came away from that trip a more seasoned traveler.  Later that year, when my best friend and I embarked on a 10 day trip to Slovenia, a destination that had been on my bucket list since before the pandemic, I felt prepared to tackle it on my own after having done Mexico.
